Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' functional abilities, identifying strengths and limitations to develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to individuals across the lifespan, focusing on promoting independence and enhancing quality of life.
  • Deliver therapeutic activities, adaptive equipment, and environmental modifications to support clients in achieving their rehabilitation goals.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including physiotherapists, speech therapists, and social workers, to ensure integrated care for clients.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records, progress notes, and treatment reports in compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a practising Occupational Therapist.
  • Proven experience in delivering occupational therapy services within a healthcare or community setting.
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills, with a client-centred approach to care planning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with team members.
