Uniform

Dress & Appearance

In line with our commitment to delivering the highest standards of professionalism and conduct, Day Webster advise every temporary worker to maintain appropriate standards of dress and appearance while working at client premises. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary action.

The relevant uniform as indicated below should be worn in full for all duties in hospitals, nursing homes and industries unless otherwise specified.

Uniform requirements
Black, brown or white duty shoes
Minimal make-up and jewellery to be worn

Female
Plain white short-sleeve dress or plain white tunic
Belt: RN Royal Blue, EN " Green, Auxiliary " Burgundy
Trousers: RN " Royal Blue, EN " Green, Auxiliary " Burgundy

Male
Plain white tunic
Black or grey trousers

Paediatric nurses (only if advised)
Polo shirt: RN " Royal Blue, EN " Green, Auxiliary " Burgundy

Please remember that you must display your identity badge at all times. In addition, trained staff should always carry their NMC (UKCC) pin card or other proof of qualification eg HPC. In certain circumstances a client may request that nurses dress otherwise for specific assignments. However, identity badges must still be worn and be clearly visible.

Nurses are responsible for the purchase of uniforms themselves.
